IN HIS NAME!

"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;..." (Mark 16:17 KJV).

When our Lord Jesus was done with His assignment of salvation on earth, He gathered the disciples and made a powerful declaration to them. Rephrasing our opening verse "This is how you know those who believe in what  I have accomplished for them; with my name shall they kick out devils from their lives..." Listen, Christianity is not a religion of some sort founded by Christ rather, it is the manifestation of the power of Divinity by humanity.

One of the fruits of salvation is the right to exercise the authority of heaven over earthly forces through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Use the name to deal with things and circumstances against your wellbeing. The right of using the name of Jesus is not just for the pastors, or highly esteem ministers; as a matter of fact, it is for everyone.

The prerequisite is to believe in Jesus Christ; believe in His finished work on the cross and function in the newness of life. John 1:12 says, "As many that believes in him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believes in his name". You are a certified, registered son of God the moment you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and this comes with power. This power is given to you to function on earth as the son of God and surmount every contrary force against your nature. So you see? You're not left defenseless.

Don't tolerate the works of devil your life or around you, cast him out using the Name of Jesus. He's bound to obey once that Name is declared. Hallelujah!

Prayer:

Father in the Name of Jesus, I thank you for the privilege to partake of your divine abilities through Jesus Christ. (Begin to prophesy over your life and destroy every works of the devil in and around your life).
